PACIFIC QUEST DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING SCHOOL (PQDTS)

Touch New Zealand

The purpose of Touch New Zealand is EVANGELISM. Our aim is to impact the local community, and other communities throughout New Zealand with the Love of Jesus. We can do this through any means, be it acts of service, relationship and friendship building, after school and holiday programs. Anyway the Lord leads us to be a witness to the people we come in contact with outside of the DTS.

Pacific Quest DTS also hosts Café Nights, which is a one evening per week project where we invite the local Maori and Church communities to come and get to know us as a school. It also provides an opportunity to bridge the gap between churched and un-churched communities, in a non threatening way that is fun, relevant and relational.

Mid-school Outreach

This is an opportunity for us as PQDTS to go outside of Tauranga, and serve and minister a different region in New Zealand for a weekend. Again, the focus is EVANGELISM, through any means. This is also another opportunity for us to serve and encourage the local church that we will be involved with in that region.
